Transform Vacant Lots into Community Pop-Up Spaces

From "Proposals: empower your community to drive change"

Go to the project

Many cities have vacant lots or unused public spaces that could be better utilized. This proposal recommends transforming these areas into temporary “pop-up” spaces for community use—such as urban gardens, small markets, or cultural exhibits. Residents could suggest ideas and vote on which projects they’d like to see in their neighborhood.

This approach not only revitalizes underused spaces but also fosters community involvement and allows for flexible, short-term projects that can meet evolving needs.
